Nigel Garside represented WML at the Annual BIM Conference, held at the Institution of Structural Engineers new headquarters last week. The new NBS Toolkit was showcased with an in depth review provided. Although still in the beta testing stage, it appears that this will be a great asset in enabling the industry to standardise BIM deliverables for future projects. There was some interesting debate had regarding legal and insurance aspects as we all progress from Level 2 to Level 3 BIM. It was reassuring to hear that the Construction Lawyers could see the potential benefits of improved collaboration that will hopefully be engendered. WML remain committed to the continual adoption of BIM best practice. As the Construction Industry advances headstrong into the digital age we will be there with the WML flag flying!
